Buying and/or selling a home can seem to be a monumental task. Our company focus is to guide you through this process with as little fuss and stress as possible.

Our web page is easy to use. The links on the left hand side of the page will allow you to see current homes that we have for sale, search for active homes for sale in the East Bay through the local MLS (the actual system that realtors use), search for homes across the entire country, investigate the public schools, as well as other valuable links.

COMPANY FOCUS:

Johnson Properties is owned and operated by Jim & Carissa Johnson. Jim is a real estate broker in excellent standing with over 30 years real estate experience (with over $330 Million in sales and is among the top 1% of agents in the country). Carissa is a licensed real estate agent with over 10 years real estate experience, as well as over 15 years experience in corporate and technical sales.

We will never assign an "assistant" to help you with your home sale or purchase. We GUARANTEE to be the SOLE POINT OF CONTACT you will have during this important time in your life. We understand that you are not just selling your home, but are making decisions about one of your largest financial investments you may have -- and that deserves our focused attention.

We focus primarily in the communities of Five Canyons in Castro Valley and Windemere in San Ramon. We have sold more homes in Five Canyons than any other real estate company, and have sold the 2nd highest number of homes of any agent in Windemere. It is not our goal to be the biggest real estate company in the Bay Area, but to be the best. By focusing on only the Five Canyons and Windemere neighborhoods, we are better able to keep our finger on the pulse of the communities, resulting in better service for our clients who are selling or buying homes in Five Canyons and Windemere. In addition, we have a vested interest in seeing that the values are maintained -- we're homeowners in both Five Canyons and Windemere!

MARKETING PLAN:

Johnson Properties' Marketing Plan includes the following:

1.View and photo the interior and exterior of your home.
2. Review current market conditions and recent active, pending, and sold comparable properties.
3. Determine the value of your home.
4. Submit your listing to the local board of realtors with multiple photos.
5. Place your listing on the Internet and Johnson Properties web page.
6. Prepare COLOR "Photo Brochures" for distribution to agents and potential buyers who visit your home.
7. Place ads in local newspapers for Sunday Open Houses.
8. Install sign and lockbox.
9. If desired, meet with contractors at your home for various home inspections. Discuss findings and recommendations of contractors with you.
10. Create and distribute "Just Listed" flyers to over 1000 homes in the immediate area.
11. Schedule Real Estate Agent Tour (if desired).
12. Contact potential buyers we have met over the last 6-9 months in your home's price range.
13. Hold Open House for potential buyers either Saturday or Sunday.
14. Review and revise Marketing Plan (on-going until your home is sold).
15. Negotiate the best possible sales price with buyers and/or agents who make offers on your home. (Marketing Plan is subject to change depending on market conditions.)
